Shawn Herlihy is a Principal of the company and concentrates on arranging acquisition, construction, and permanent financing on a wide spectrum of property types including office, retail, industrial, apartments, hotels, and student housing.  In his 28-year financing career, Shawn has personally originated and closed over 530 transactions with a total dollar volume in excess of $8.39 billion.  In addition to senior debt placement, Shawn works within Goedecke’s Structured Finance Group, a team assembled to structure joint ventures, equity placements, mezzanine loans and various other debt and equity related transactions.  Shawn represents borrowers throughout the United States, with a significant focus on clients owning properties located in New England.

Prior to joining the Goedecke in 2004, Shawn served as a Director of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler’s (HFF) Boston Office from 1996 to 2003.  After earning his BA from the University of New Hampshire, Shawn began his real estate career in the Leasing and Investment Sales Group at Leggat McCall/Grubb & Ellis in Boston in 1991.

Shawn grew up in Winchester and currently resides in Wellesley with his wife Linda, and three teenage sons.
