Peter Goedecke
Principal & Founder
(617) 790-9090

Peter Goedecke has been active in commercial real estate finance since earning his MBA from Stanford University in 1973 (50 years and counting).  He co-founded Fowler Goedecke & Co., Inc. in 1974, participated in the acquisition of Leggat McCall & Werner Financial Corporation in 1981, and led its subsequent growth as Fowler Goedecke Ellis & O’Connor, Inc. to become the Northeast’s largest privately held mortgage banking firm.

Coincident with the sale of FGEO to Amresco in 1998, Peter bought out of the required non-compete agreement and founded Goedecke & Co., LLC to carry on the mission its predecessor:  the confidential provision of advice free of conflicts of interest leading to the arrangement of real estate financing optimized for clients and investors, not for the intermediary, with a concentration on New England assets and owners.

While founding and running the two firms, during his career Peter has successfully arranged literally billions in financing for virtually every type of income producing real estate, under nearly every conceivable financial structure.

Peter resides in Boston and Cohasset, Massachusetts, and in Bend, Oregon.  When not working he enjoys skiing and sailing, hiking and biking, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Few people are better known nationally among real estate lenders and investors.
