Michael Surprenant is a Principal of the company with over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and acts as a trusted advisor to his clients to arrange debt and equity financing. Michael works in all areas of the capital structure including first mortgage loans, subordinate debt, preferred equity joint venture equity, and general partner equity. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Michael worked in origination roles for Bear Stearns and Northmarq Capital. He holds a BS from Boston College and an MBA from Bentley University.

Michael resides in Needham, Massachusetts with his wife and son who together founded and run Catching Joy Inc., a 501 C-3 non-profit that promotes volunteerism beginning with young children, teens, and their families.
